This policy explains what personal data The Untaught Academy collects, why, and your rights over it. It follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000. The Untaught Academy, a brand of Varathambal Business Academy, a sole proprietorship owned by Kasthuri Sankar, is the Data Fiduciary responsible for your data.

We may also disclose data where required by law, court order or a government authority. Some providers store data outside India; we use only providers with appropriate safeguards and in countries not restricted by the Government of India.

4.AI tools

We may use AI tools, including Claude by Anthropic, to help review assignments or draft feedback. We will not upload your payment data or government IDs to these tools. If you do not want your submissions processed by AI tools, tell us and we will review them manually.

5.Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the site and keep you logged in. With your consent, we use analytics and advertising cookies (Meta Pixel) to understand traffic and measure ads. You can refuse non-essential cookies through the cookie banner or your browser settings.

6.How long we keep it

We then delete or anonymise the data.

Under the DPDP Act you can:

We use reasonable security measures, including access controls, encrypted connections and trusted providers. No system is fully secure. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
