Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of untaught.academy and any program, cohort, call or resource offered by The Untaught Academy. By creating an account, booking a call or making a payment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1.Who we are

The Untaught Academy ("we", "us", "the Academy") is a brand of Varathambal Business Academy, a sole proprietorship owned by Kasthuri Sankar and registered as an MSME under Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-TN-08-0146474. Address: 2/371 B, SS Koil Street, Mugalivakkam, Chennai – 600125, Tamil Nadu.

2.Definitions

• Services: our website, cohorts, courses, live classes, support calls, paid sales calls, community spaces and digital resources.
• Program: any paid cohort or course, including the Claude-Powered Lead Machine 4-Week Cohort.
• Learning Materials: recordings, templates, the Claude Skills Vault, Format Bank, Hook Bank, Frameworks Book, worksheets and any other content we provide.
• Student or you: the person who registers for or uses the Services.

3.Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. If you enrol on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.

4.Accounts

You must give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. Your account is for you alone. Do not share your login, and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend accounts that are shared or used in breach of these Terms.

5.Programs and delivery

• Program content, schedule, duration and inclusions are as described on the sales page at the time you pay.
• Programs are taught through live group classes, held online on Microsoft Teams through our LMS at the times we announce. We will try to record them, but recordings are not guaranteed.
• We may change session dates, instructors, tools or the order of content when needed. We will give reasonable notice and will not reduce the core value of the Program.
• Programs do not include individual 1-on-1 coaching sessions. Any calls under the support promise in Section 7 are held on Google Meet.

6.Fees and payment

• Prices are in Indian Rupees and shown on the relevant page. We are not registered under GST, so no GST is charged on our fees.
• Payment is processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details.
• Your seat is confirmed only after payment succeeds.
• Paid sales or strategy calls (currently ₹199 for 45 minutes) are a separate service and are not adjusted against Program fees unless we say so in writing.

7.No refunds, cancellations and support promise

• No refunds: all Program fees and paid call fees are non-refundable once payment is made. Please read the Program details carefully before you pay.
• Paid calls: you may reschedule once with at least 24 hours' notice. A call missed without notice is forfeited.
• Cancellation by us: if we cancel a Program before it starts, you will receive a full refund or a seat in the next batch, at your choice. This is the only case in which fees are refunded.
• "Results or I Don't Rest" support promise: if you apply all the teachings from the Program, we will keep supporting you through messages and calls until you get results. This support has no fixed end date.
• Conditions: the promise applies only if you have applied all the teachings. We may ask you to show what you have implemented before extending support. Replies are given on working days within 48 hours.
• Results are not guaranteed: this is a promise of continued support, not a guarantee of any result, and it does not entitle you to a refund.

8.Access to materials

"Lifetime access" means access to the Learning Materials for as long as the Academy operates the Program and its hosting platform. If we close a Program or change platforms, we will give at least 30 days' notice and, where practical, a way to download materials for personal use.

9.No guarantee of earnings

We teach systems for creating content and generating leads. Your results depend on your effort, skills, market, offer and factors outside our control. Examples of past results, and statements such as "one client covers the fee", are illustrations, not promises. We do not guarantee any income, number of leads, followers or clients. The "Results or I Don't Rest" promise in Section 7 is a commitment to keep supporting you, not a guarantee of results.

10.Third-party tools

Our Programs teach you to use third-party tools, including Claude by Anthropic, Notion, Instagram, YouTube and others. You are responsible for your own accounts and subscriptions on those tools and for following their terms. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies, and we are not responsible for changes to their features, pricing or availability.

11.Intellectual property

• All Learning Materials belong to Varathambal Business Academy or its licensors.
• We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use them for your own business or learning.
• You may use the templates, skills, hooks and frameworks to create content for yourself or your own clients.
• You may not resell, share, publish, repackage or teach the Learning Materials, or share recordings or login access, without written permission.
• Content you create using our frameworks belongs to you.

12.Community and conduct

In live sessions, groups and chats, you agree not to harass or abuse anyone, share others' personal information, post spam or unsolicited promotions, record sessions without permission, or share other students' work outside the community. We may remove you from the community or Program for serious or repeated breaches, without refund.

13.Recordings and testimonials

Live sessions may be recorded and shared with the cohort. If you do not want to appear, keep your camera off and use the chat. We will use your name, photo, results or testimonial in marketing only with your separate consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

14.Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific Program or service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data or lost business opportunities.

15.Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the materials or fail to pay. Sections 9, 11, 14 and 17 continue after termination.

16.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and notify enrolled students by email for material changes. Changes do not affect Programs already paid for, unless required by law.

17.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion with our Grievance Officer (see the Privacy Policy). If unresolved within 30 days, the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu will have exclusive jurisdiction.
